This stovetop was a great fit for our space. We prefer gas/propane stoves, and are very pleased with the automatic lite for the burners. A favorite feature are the enclosed burners that eliminate messes under the burners. It's easy to clean. The chrome is beautiful, matching our other appliances. The only problem I have is that I cannot calibrate the heat of the burners. The low is more like medium and there is no way to simmer on any of the burners. Thanks!

This gas cooktop has all we need, we will only be using it for canning. The only problem we had with it is the finish, there is a film on the surface that looks like old water stains. Have tried to polish it off with no positive results. All together I would say it is a great value for the money spent.

We remodeled our kitchen with Whirlpool appliances. I'm happy with them except I am having trouble regulating my burners. I had them transferred to LP gas by a gas company but am still having trouble! This is a picture of the left front burner on the lowest setting! Things still boil on low!

This was an option the builder offered when we designed our house. Looks good, heats evenly and completely disassembles for easy cleaning. The only downside is that the stainless scratches a bit easily and I annoys me. Otherwise for the money it is a great cooktop!

My wife and I were given this cooktop for Christmas. At first we were very pleased. It worked well and looked nice but then we used it. The first thing my wife noticed was it wasn't easy to clean without leaving streaks. This is after we followed the directions given. Next we made chicken soup and there was a spill over. I cleaned the broth immediatly but after cooking we found the burner base to be discolored and we are unable to get it clean. Our new cooktop now looks dirty around the burner and it really distracts from the appearance of the cooktop. We would not recommend this cooktop if it discolors so easily/

I like the layout of the burners with the smaller one in the right front. I am not at all happy with the fact that the burner bases on the two front burners are stained from a small spill of pasta sauce, particularly since that was our first use of it. That doesn't bode well for keeping it clean and presentable.Are there alternatives to that material for the burner bases? If not, I cannot recommend this particular product.I am, however , very happy with the French door refrigerator

We recently decided to strip our kitchen of 34 years and redo it. Since we did all the work ourselves we wanted quality appliances to reflect our vision. We were impressed with the American label on the Whirlpool appliances so we chose Whirlpools oven, cooktop, microwave and dishwasher. All our friends and family have commented on our appliance selection. We have yet to remove the American sticker and we consider the appliances the cherry on top of our labor.

We have used the cook top for a month and find it satisfactory. However the light weight grids are slightly annoying as they slide easily when we clean the cook top. A heavier weight would be better.

We were upgrading our countertop to granite and had a black cooktop. Decided to get this for the nicer look which lightens up the entire kitchen and matchs to the fridge. We use this everyday - very easy to clean (with Windex)! Sealed burner prevents crumbs to fall in. Don't see a reason why one would need a more expensive cooktop - does the job perfectly with this unit. Hope it last for years to come.

Needed to replace outdated/ broken cook top in our home. We opted for same model/ style. It's obviously been re-designed and improved; the burners are still sturdy, but more lightweight and easy to clean. Took handyman approximately 45 minutes to remove old and install new. So nice to finally have all four burners available to use. Overall a great purchase that didn't break the bank.

The cooktop gets a lot of use in my kitchen. The best aspect about it is that it keeps a consistent flame. I haven't done any empirical studies to test sustained temperatures, but I have not had any issues with a burner level being more or less hot than what it did the last time I cooked on it. This seems to be the biggest problem I've ever had with more stove or cooktops, with as much cooking as I do, I pick up on the issue fairly quickly.Given that I do a lot of cooking, the cooktop requires pretty consistent clean up. Being stainless steel, it isn't the easiest material to keep looking in pristine condition if you're goal is to maintain that just-out-of-the-box sheen, even if you use the proper cleaner and cloths. My kitchen is a working kitchen, not a model home, so this isn't a very big issue for us, but could be for someone who expects little required maintenance with light daily use.

I love this cooktop, it is very modern looking....the stainless steel makes it look like it is a pricy product; but it's not. It is very easy to maintain clean, just wipe with wet sponge or cloth and viola! You can use it as a mirror.

Purchased a few months ago. Haven't used much but the controls are very logical and easy to use. The product is very sturdy and the stainless steel is easy to clean and very attractive. My only complaint is that I haven't been able to remove the burner handles and it is a bit difficult to remove unwanted crumbs, etc. that remain under the knobs. I don't know where some of these unwanted items go that I cannot remove but they seem to drop in a whole under the knobs.

I purchased the lowest rice gas stainless steel cooktops out there.. so I was a little bit nervous. But I wanted a clean basic look.. and I wanted to see a lot of stainless steel.. i was not into a lot of black.. so I chose this stove top. It shows mostly stainless steel.. the grills and knobs are the only black.. sooo easy to clean and wipe down. Because lets face it.. with stainless.. you are constantly wiping down EVERY time you cook. There are no heavy grooves in this design.. so it is easy to clean.

When we built our house 10 years ago we put in a Whirlpool cook top. Over the years, with constant use, it became time to invest in a new product. After reviewing all of the alternatives on the market, we decided that our replacement would be another Whirlpool. After all, we do have a Whirlpool oven, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator so we have been pleased with the brand. The new stove top is so easy to clean up and I have always enjoyed the pilotless lighting. Not to mention the burner grates can go into the dishwasher. Also, the burner detents are a nice tool to have when adjusting the flame. What's not to like?
