Beautiful vent hood but would like it to be fingerprint resistant. Also would like it to have a low setting on the vent. It is a little noisy.

The whirlpool mount canopy hood looks great in the kitchen but I am writing this review as we started having problem since last night. The vent and the light turns off automatically. We noticed this last night that it did not turn on and called our builders [they have not replied as it is a weekend]. We checked the breakers (turn it on/off) but it did not work. Now this morning, it suddenly started working but after an hour it stopped working again.
We are still under warranty and hopefully someone will come to fix this up. But yes, it looks gorgeous in our kitchen but it needs to be reliable for 5* review.

I requested this range hood in lieu of the usual microwave with exhaust fan above the cooktop. I lost a little cabinet space but had ample space elsewhere. The lighting is vivid and the exhaust is powerful. This added a lot to the kitchen appearance

We moved into a new home and chose the level 2 hood option. Adds a nice gourmet kitchen feel to the home. Wish the vertical section of the hood was a bit wider.

It'll do. A bit flimsy so it dents easily. Poor design in that pulling the stack apart when being installed it is almost impossible that it doesn't get scratched in the process.

It's fine for a SS hood. Wish the design was such that there was an element to make it more visually interesting. It is just a big silver presence that could maybe be a bit more visually appealing. I also feel it is a bit flimsy. The grates need to be put in just so and fall out too easily. The fan is also quite loud. My least favorite of our Whirlpool package in our new home.

Looks Great and works even better. I have had the product for a couple months now and am extremely happy with the product. Best way to explain how well it works, I did blacked catfish in a cast iron skillet and no smoke was seen through the house with the fan on the medium setting.

The product works well at what it's designed for. Click in filters fit nicely and suction is good. There are a few things that would be nice to change:1) Buttons for fan speed are difficult, especially for any Non-English users.2) Buttons are small and would benefit from tactile feel to identify by touch.3) Bulb is florescent which is okay, but really would benefit from being LED

Only negative, the light lense is lower then the front of the hood. It shows a band of light, should be ressed so you do not see actual lightOther then that, 7 months, no issues.

I love the look. It's very clean and steam line. Only problem is the light underneath has little to be desired.. It is way too dim. My thoughts would be to at least allow me to put in a higher wattage bulb :(

I never write reviews, but I just purchased 8 whirlpool appliance to match in our new home and this hood gets the job done. We have our hood vented out the roof and fried fish with the fan on and there was no odor in our kitchen. Amazing!
